As promised, here is a video of the guy shearing a sheep at the agrodome in Rotorua.  New Zealand has sports competitions for speed in this activity.  The agrodome was started by a Kiwi named Godfrey Bowen, who for many years was the fastest shearer on record and was extremely famous in his day for standardizing shearing technique.  He went on the Johnny Carson show and was recognized by the Kremlin for “contributions to labour” (nearly impossible for non-Russians) and stuff like that.  His bio is quite interesting:  http://www.nzedge.com/heroes/bowen.html

The other most famous Kiwi is Sir Edmund Hillary.

I have also started to post additional trip videos in the right nav bar.  These are best viewed on the “original size” setting, and I’m not sure how to rotate them to their correct orientation yet.  I feel like that can be done but am not sure.
